In today's era of continuous evolution of fiber materials, Polypropylene stretch yarn, with their unique performance combination, are becoming the ideal choice in numerous textile fields. Polypropylene is the least dense type among all common synthetic fibers, with a density of only 0.91 g/cm³ and the ability to float on water. The drawing process enables its breaking strength to reach 4.5-7.0 cN/dtex, making it highly resistant to wear and tear and stretching. At the same time, the elongation at break is controlled within 15%-35%, providing a soft and flexible feel without stiffness. This "light yet strong" characteristic allows it to reduce the texture of woven materials while ensuring structural stability during use. 


Wicks moisture quickly and dries efficiently, providing a comfortable wearing experience.

This fiber does not absorb moisture (the official moisture regain rate is close to zero), but it has a remarkable capillary effect. The moisture cannot penetrate the interior of the fiber, but it can rapidly diffuse and evaporate along the surface micro-grooves. This property gives the fabric the function of one-way moisture wicking and dryness upon contact, making it suitable for making summer clothing, sports equipment, and the inner lining of protective gloves, effectively reducing the feeling of heat and stickiness. 


Chemically resistant, with wide application range

Polypropylene stretch yarn has excellent tolerance to acids, alkalis and organic solvents, is not prone to mold or insect damage, and does not degrade due to humid environment. Therefore, it is widely used in filter materials, agricultural woven fabrics, geotextiles, cables, and automotive interiors, etc. By adjusting the color masterbatch, various colored yarns of different colors can be directly produced to meet personalized needs, while eliminating the subsequent dyeing process and reducing environmental load. 


Process adaptation, stable and controllable quality

From the conventional circular cross-section to the design of special-shaped spinnerets, polypropylene stretch filaments can achieve different cross-sections such as flat and three-leaf shapes to adjust the luster and feel. During the production process, continuous stretching and heat setting are adopted to ensure uniform tension of the entire tube of filaments and smooth rewinding, which is suitable for high-speed weaving and drafting processing.
